Surprise Your Sweetheart, Kick Your Feet Up, Text to Win, or Hit The Lanes For Rafters Tickets This Season
Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.- The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are proud to announce many of the exciting Game Day Ticket Contests will be returning for the 2014 season. Fans of all ages are encouraged to participate in these unique opportunities to win Rafters tickets.
Bev’s Floral and Gifts in Stevens Point is once again sponsoring the “Sweetheart of the Game” for the 2014 season. During 33 home games in 2014, one lucky fan will have the opportunity to receive two bleacher tickets to a Rafters game for them and a guest. In between one inning during the game, their “Sweetheart” will be presented with a dozen roses by the Rafters mascot, Rosco P. Rafter, all courtesy of Bev’s Floral & Gifts. There will be 33 games during which the promotion will take place during the 2014 season (every game, excluding Sundays). During nine home games this summer, Home Furniture will be the presenting sponsor of the “Best Seats in the House” at the ballpark. Each winner of the Best Seats in the House will win two all-you-can eat and drink tickets for a game and the opportunity to enjoy Rafters baseball from two La-Z-Boy recliners, all courtesy of Home Furniture. Each winner will also be invited to return on August 9th for Fan Appreciation Night to take part in a drawing for the chance to win one of the La-Z-Boy recliners! All fans interested in enjoying a game from the Home Furniture “Best Seats in the House” will be able to submit their email address on the Home Furniture website or by visiting www.raftersbaseball.com clicking the “More” tab on the menu bar and sub-header “Contests” for a chance to win. The “Best Seats in the House” promotion will take place on every Wednesday and Friday home game in 2014 as well as the final game of the regular season, Fan Appreciation Night, on Sunday, August 9th.
The Rafters have partnered with Zaxx Technology Specialists once again for the 2014 season for the return of Zaxx Technology Specialists “Text for Tix.” This great promotion gives fans the opportunity to win two Solarus Founders Club tickets to a Rafters home game. Anytime the week before a Rafters home game, text the word “Zaxx” to 313131. Fans who text in will be entered for the chance to win two Founders Club tickets a game the following week. With the Founders Club tickets, “Text for Tix” winning fans will watch the game from the comfortable Solarus Founders Club seats while enjoying all-you-can-eat ballpark food, all-you-can-drink fountain soda until the end of the 5th inning, along with four tap beers throughout the game. On every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday home game during the 2014 season, make sure to watch for the “Bowlmor Lanes Baseline Bowling” on-field promotion. All fans 13 and under are eligible to sign up for the weekly drawing at Bowlmor Lanes in Wisconsin Rapids for a chance to win two FREE tickets to a Rafters game as well as an opportunity to participate in an on-field bowling promotion during the game. All fans 13 and under can submit their name in the “register to win” sign-up box at Bowlmor Lanes, located at 3141 8th Street South. All winners will be contacted by a member of the Rafters staff to claim their tickets at the Will Call booth for a specified game and with further instructions.
Opening Day is set for Tuesday, May 27th as the Rafters host the Kenosha Kingfish at 7:05 PM.
