SOX unisUniforms Will Honor Wisconsin Rapids White Sox

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will be wearing their second alternate theme jersey in as many days on Wednesday, June 3rd when they will don replica Wisconsin Rapids White Sox jerseys for Turn Back the Clock Night presented by Fey Printing. The jersey will also be available through a silent auction with proceeds  the Witter Field Mural Project. Starting today, you can submit an online bid (starting at $50) for as many jerseys as you’d like. Bidding will continue during the game on June 3 during which fans will have the chance to match and continue to bid in-person. The auction will end with the last out in the bottom of the 7th inning and winners will be announced in the 8th inning. Winners do not need not to be in attendance, but it is recommended. ($5 will be added for shipped orders).

To place your bid please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the “BID Jersey” link beside the player’s name on raftersbaseball.com
  2. Your email program will then open a new message
  3. In the body of that email please include: the player’s name, the dollar amount of your bid, your name & your phone number!

  4. Bid as many times as you’d like on as many jerseys as you wish! (Remember, bids less than $50 will not be considered)
  5. Bids of $100 will automatically win the jersey, provided it is the highest bid at the time it is placed.

*Please note: Backside of the jersey will feature the player’s number centered over a four-leaf clover.
** Upon completion of the game, each player will sign his jersey if desired and a member of the Rafters staff will bring those items to the Rafthouse Team Shop. At that time, payment will be needed to obtain said item. Patience is requested as over 30 transactions will need to be run immediately following the game. For faster processing, cash or check is the preferred method of payment.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 22nd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2015, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (OAK).
