Pitching rules the day as the Rafters record goes to 10-8

Kalamazoo, Mich- The Rafters split another series against the Kalamazoo Grolwers, as they move to 2-2 against them on the season. The Rafters won the first game 5-0 and took a loss 1-0 in the second game of the day. Pitching ruled the day as the Rafters had two right-handed pitchers throw some outstanding ball games.

Davitt only allowed one base-runner in his outing as the Rafters tacked on four runs in the final five innings to win the first game of the doubleheader. Jack Riley (UConn) was strong in his 3.2 innings of work, but could not continue his outing. Riley held the Growlers scoreless and only allowed 3 hits.  Demetrius Sims (Bethune-Cookman) and Sam Tolleson (Central Florida) each had RBI singles for the Rafters in the game.
