Rafters In Lakeshore to Finish Up Road Trip

Rafters and Chinooks square off for rights to 2nd place

 

Mequon, Wis- The Rafters split another series against the Kalamazoo Grolwers, and now head to Mequon for a two game set with Lakeshore. The Rafters pitching ruled the day, as they only allowed one run in the previous series with Kalamazoo.

 

Brian Russell (College of Staten Island) will be the starter for Monday’s game against the 2014 Northwoods League champions. He is making his fourth start of the summer for the Rafters this evening. He has not factored in a decision in the 14.2 innings he has thrown for the Rafters. Kody Hessemer (Baylor) will get the start for Lakeshore. He is 1-1 with a 2.45 ERA in three appearances for Lakeshore.

 

The Rafters have another game in Lakeshore to conclude this four game road trip tomorrow night. The Rafters return home to Historic Witter Field Wednesday to take on the first place Kenosha Kingfish. Tickets are still available, call 715-424-5400.
