Rafters Begin Home and Home Series with Green Bay
Rafters visit Bullfrogs for 3rd game this summer
Green Bay, Wis- The Rafters look to bounce back after a series in which they were swept against Kenosha when they play the Green bay Bullfrogs. The Rafters were victorious last time they were in Green Bay, when James Davitt (Bryant) made a stellar appearance out of the bullpen to help the Rafters to a 3-1 victory.
Chris Falwell (Cisco College) will be on the mound tonight for Wisconsin Rapids. Falwell, who was drafted by the Pirates in the 29th round of the draft this summer, will be making his fifth start of the summer. The tall left hander struck out 17 batters in 14 inning pitched this summer. On the mound for Green Bay will be Ryan Radue (UConn), he is 3-0 this summer for the Bullfrogs. Tonight Radue will be making his 6th start of the summer.
The Rafters then return home for a day-night doubleheader tomorrow, June 29th against the Eau Claire Express to conclude the first half of the Northwoods League 2015 season.
