Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters home opener is right around the corner where the Rafters are hosting the Green Bay Bullfrogs. Gates to Witter Field will open at 5:30pm and first pitch at 7:05pm. Get there early to witness Rosco P. Rafter’s spectacular grand entrance that you will need to see to believe.

Fun, family events will be held before and during the game around the ballpark including a balloon artist, face painting, and live pre-game music by Drew Hamel. Make sure to grab a Nieman’s Service Magnet Schedule when entering the ballpark.

Tickets for Opening Day are on sale now. Call 715-424-5400 or stop by the Rafters Front Office Monday-Friday, located on 521 Lincoln Street, from 9-5 to purchase tickets or a group outing.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 23rd season of summer collegiate baseball in 2016, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind.
