Four fireworks displays slated for the upcoming season
Always among the most popular nights out at the ballpark during the summer, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters have announced four post-game fireworks shows for the upcoming 2018 season. This year all of the shows will take place following Saturday evening games at Witter Field.
On Saturday, June 9th the Rafters will host the Fond Du Lac Dock Spiders at 6:05 p.m. Gates will open at 5:05 p.m. and be sure to stick around following the game for the first fireworks spectacular of the 2018 season.
Help the Rafters and start the holiday week a little early by attending the Saturday, June 30th game between the Rafters and the Kenosha Kingfish. Gates will open at 5:05 p.m. for the 6:05 p.m. first pitch and following the game fans will enjoy a fireworks extravaganza to start the Fourth of July festivities, presented by Advanced Disposal. Lighted batons will also accompany the fireworks for all fans to enhance the glow of the evening.
On Saturday, July 28th, the Rafters take on the Rockford Rivets and there will be post-game fireworks presented by Budweiser to follow. Game time is 6:05 p.m. and gates will open at 5:05 p.m.
The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will play their final home game of the regular season at Witter Field against the Green Bay Bullfrogs. Saturday, August 11th will feature the final post-game fireworks show brought to you by the Rafters Founding Partners. Gates will open at 5:05 for the 6:05 pm first pitch.
Tickets for these special fireworks nights are split amongst three of the 9 Game Package options available for the 2018 season, which are currently on sale at the Rafters Office. Single-game tickets for the 2018 season will go on sale beginning Friday, April 20th at 9 a.m.
The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters will begin their season on the road against the Madison Mallards on Tuesday, May 29th. The Home Opener is slated for Friday, June 1st against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The entire 2018 Rafters schedule is available at www.raftersbaseball.com.
