Wisconsin Rapids hosts Fond du Lac on Harry Potter Night with a series split in mind.

 

Wisconsin Rapids, Wis. – After a long matchup last night, the Rafters will take on the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders for the second game of the home series. The Rafters are now 14-15 in the second half and are 29-35 overall. They are facing the now 36-29 Dock Spiders who are 15-15 in the second half. The Rafters aim to split the season series at four wins each.

 

On the bump for the Rafters is Chandler Greenfield of Dixie State University. The junior righty will be making his 14th appearance and fifth start for the Rafters. In his 39.1 innings pitched he has walked 18 batters, allowed 41 hits and struck out 35. He currently sports a 3.66 ERA and a 2-1 record.

 

Hurling for the Dock Spiders will be junior from Butler, Sam Hubbe. Hubbe sports a 3.65 ERA with a 3-2 record. In 44.1 innings pitched, he has struck out 34 batters, walked 13 and allowed 49 hits.

 

The first pitch is slated for 4:05 p.m. The Rafters tomorrow will start a home series against the Battle Creek Bombers. The series will be split however, by the Major League Dreams Showcase, hosted in Madison on August 7th.
