Rain forces Tuesday doubleheader between Rapids and Green Bay

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (21-13) waited out a rain delay before their game with the Green Bay Booyah (15-19) was postponed Monday. The teams will play a seven-inning doubleheader on Tuesday.

First pitch for game one will be at 5:05 p.m. and game two will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one at Historic Witter Field. Both games will be seven innings long.

The Rafters will close out the first half of the season with the doubleheader and get ready for a two-game set with the Wisconsin Woodchucks starting Wednesday. Wisconsin Rapids currently sits at second place in the Great Lakes West Division.

Tomorrow’s doubleheader at Historic Witter Field will be That 70’s Night, featuring music, trivia, and food specials reminiscent of the 1970’s.
