Wisconsin Rapids’ game against Wisconsin postponed to a road doubleheader

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (9-5) will play a Sunday road doubleheader against the Wisconsin Woodchucks (6-8) after weather forced their Saturday night game to be postponed.

Game one at Athletic Park in Wausau will be at 3:05 p.m., with game two following the conclusion of game one. The Rafters are 5-3 against the Woodchucks this season. Wisconsin Rapids is currently in second place in the Great Lakes West Division, sitting one game behind Green Bay.

Any Rafters fan with a ticket to Saturday’s game can exchange it for a ticket of equal or lesser value for any of the Rafters remaining home games in the 2019 10thAnniversary Season. The scheduled fireworks show and lighted baton giveaway, presented by Advanced Disposal, will be rescheduled to a later date.

When the team returns to Historic Witter Field on Tuesday, they will take the field for the first time as the Wisconsin Rapids Gorgeous Grandmas. The team will be offering a two-for-one ticket special as they face off against the Green Bay Booyah.
