The St. Cloud Rox build upon their league-best second half mark, defeating Waterloo 10-7 at home, as they were carried behind a terrific pitching performance by their All-Star Reese Gregory.

Gregory was his typical self off the mound tonight, throwing 6 2/3 innings, allowing seven hits, one run (none earned) and striking out ten Bucks batters. The local junior hailing from St. Cloud State, Gregory has consistently shown that he is one of the best pitchers in the Northwoods League, owning a 6-3 record, with a second-best 1.46 ERA, striking out a league-best 66 batters over 67 2/3 innings. The big righty has been exclusively strong in his last three pitching appearances, surrendering three runs over his last 22 innings of work.

The Rox host Waterloo again tomorrow, eyeing the series sweep as they face off at 7:05 PM.
