Brian Klein (Texas Tech) earned player of the night after going 3-5 for the Rivets in their season finale victory over Kalamazoo. With one on and two out in the top of the first, Klein drew a walk, but was left stranded. Klein reached base again in the third, but this time due to an error which sent a run home as he scored on a two-run triple later. He reached again from an error in the fourth and then doubled to leadoff the seventh and scored in the next at bat. Klein hit a double in the eighth and knocked in two as two more scored from his single in the ninth. The second baseman finished the night with two doubles, two runs scored, four RBI and a walk.
