Lakefront Brewery Presents Beer & Curdfest at Simmons Field

Event Highlighted by Home Brew Contest

Lakefront Brewery presents Beer & Curdfest at Simmons Field on Saturday, October 1st from 12 – 4pm. The event features 30 breweries and more than 90 craft beers. Home brewers are welcome to attend as the winning home brewed beer will be on tap at Simmons Field for the 2017 season, brewed by Lakefront Brewery.

This adult-only event will feature live music by the Semple Band & baggo. Tickets are $25 and include unlimited 4oz. beer samples and one sandwich per person. Cheese vendors will also be in attendance, competing for the title of "Best Fresh" and "Best Fried" curd. Ballpark food will be available for purchase. The Kenosha Kingfish are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 115 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (DET) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Allen Craig (STL) and Ben Zobrist (TB).
