Ballpark enhancements: Part 2 of 4
The EcoWater Beach coming this summer
Willmar, Minn. – Where else in the state of Minnesota can you watch a ball game, hang out barefoot and challenge your friends to a spirited game of bean bags? The answer…
Now at the EcoWater Beach in Willmar!
The Willmar Stingers and partner EcoWater are thrilled to announce the addition of the EcoWater Beach as one of the new fan experiences within Bill Taunton Stadium next summer.
This great new location will be down the left-field line east of the Arnold’s Case IH RedZone Suite. The beach will be available to all fans on a nightly basis to purchase tickets and experience a Stingers game like never before!
The EcoWater Beach experience will include all the comforts of your favorite beachfront resort, featuring beach umbrellas, tiki torches, Adirondack chairs, bean bag games and island-style food and beverage options. No shoes, no shirt, no problem!
“We wanted to create an area at the ballpark that provides a one-of-a-kind experience for our fans,” said Stingers General Manager Nick McCallum. “The EcoWater Beach gives our fans a fun-filled atmosphere they can’t get anywhere else in the Northwoods League. Stingers fans will not want to miss out on an opportunity to enjoy game with their toes in the sand!”
Ticket pricing and group availability for the EcoWater Beach will be announced as the 2017 season nears. This new area will be a great option for grad parties, class reunions and even bachelor/bachelorette parties.
The Stingers will continue to announce Parts 3 and 4 of their ballpark enhancements at Bill Taunton Stadium during the upcoming weeks. Last week, the Stingers announced Part 1 of the enhancements by unveiling the all-inclusive Christianson Home Plate Club Membership at the ballpark.
The 2017 season of Stingers Baseball is presented by Marcus Construction. “From start to finish we’ll make your job easier and build a facility you will be proud of.
