St. Cloud stayed in the thick of the fight for a playoff berth in the North, remaining tied with Rochester for second place in the division, beating Eau Claire 6-2 behind a terrific performance from their starting pitcher. 

Domenick Carlini was outstanding tonight for the Rox, hurling seven strong innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on eight hits, and striking out five. The junior from Southeastern Louisiana advanced to 2-0 on the year, dropping his ERA to 2.41, and striking out 15 batters through 22 1/3 innings of work. 

The Rox will look to continue to stay a top the North standings as they host Alexandria tomorrow at 6:05 PM.
