Pease did her 2nd NWL internship with the Honkers last summer.

(Rochester, Minn.) – The Rochester Honkers announced today the hiring of Hannah Pease, Assistant General Manager, Ticketing/Operations.  Pease joins the front office after graduating from University of Wisconsin-Platteville in December and spending the 2016 summer as a Honkers intern.

“I’m looking forward to this great opportunity with the Honkers organization,” said Pease.  “Knowing that I get to return to Rochester to work in a business I love is something I wouldn’t trade for anything.  Is it baseball season yet?!”

Pease began her Northwoods League career as a 2015 Summer Marketing Intern for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, focusing strongly on the 2015 NWL All-Star game, hosted by the Rafters. Pease also worked with the Rafters ticketing department, on-field promotions, concessions operation, writing game day public address scripts and coordinating sponsor nights.  She then continued her NWL experience the following summer, by joining the Honkers as a 2016 ticketing/operations intern.

“I was looking for a different experience to see if this was the career path that I truly wanted to continue on,” said Pease.  “Last summer proved to me that I was on the right path while still having the passion for this career.”

During her 2016 internship, Pease worked in multiple areas with the Honkers including ticketing, game day operations, game day staff management, and game preparation and planning.

Pease graduated from UW-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science in both Political Science and Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.  After interviewing for many potential jobs and finding that nothing seemed just right, she had that moment when life shakes you, and Pease knew what she wanted.

“It may have taken me hitting that guard rail with my car, to have my 'go to Rochester' moment, but I’m so happy for it,” laughed Pease.  “It was the moment that I realized how much I missed Rochester and wanted to be back with the Honkers.”

“I’m really excited to come back to the Honkers and see all the great fans again,” added Pease.  “They made the ballpark and city feel so much like home, that it makes coming back to Rochester even better.”

The Rochester Honkers 24th season begins on Tuesday, May 30th when the team hosts the Mankato MoonDogs in their home opener at Mayo Field at 7:05 pm. Season Tickets, ½ Season Plan, Suites and Patios are now available. Call the Rochester Honkers office at 507-289-1170 for more information.  The Honkers are also looking for host families for the 2017 season and ask all interested parties to call the business office for more information.
