The Wausau Woodchucks used the long ball, hitting four home runs, to run up the score on the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters defeating them 17-10. The Traverse City Pit Spitters take game 2 of the 131 rivalry series.

Lakeshore 7, Madison 4

The Lakeshore Chinooks collected thirteen hits to take down the Madison Mallards 7-4. Billy Scaldeferri (Grand Canyon University) went 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI single in the second tallying a walk, a stolen base, and scoring once. Dominic Kibler (Kent State University) went 1-for-3 with an RBi single in the third drawing two walks and scoring once. Prince Deboski (Scottsdale Community College) went 2-for-4 recording one RBI, one stolen base, and scoring twice. Davis Hamilton (North Dakota State University) went 1-for-2 with one RBI, one walk, one HBP, one stolen base, and scoring once. Luke Hansel (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) earned the win throwing five innings with three strikeouts allowing six hits, two runs, and zero walks.

Wausau 17, Wisconsin Rapids 10

Max Soliz Jr. (Auburn) was an RBI machine at the plate today going 4-for-5 with a two-run single in the first and a three-run home run in the sixth. Jacob Haley (University of South Alabama) went 3-for-4 with a solo shot in the fourth, tallying three RBI, two walks, and scoring three times. Max Galvin (Oklahoma State University) went 4-for-6 at the plate with a pair of doubles, a stolen base, one RBI, and scoring twice. Cooper Vance (Eastern Michigan University) went 3-for-6 with a double and a home run and scored three times. Greyson Shafer (Brigham Young University) went 3-for-5 with five RBI. Max Mcgwire (University of San Diego) went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles scoring three times. Carsen Plumadore (Georgia Southwestern State University) earned the win throwing 1.2 innings with one strikeout allowing one hit, zero runs, and zero walks.

Duluth 13, St. Cloud 7

The Duluth Huskies came out hot in the first inning scoring nine runs to take down the St. Cloud Rox 13-7. Cardell Thibodeaux (University of Louisiana at Monroe) went 2-for-4 with a two-run double in the first and a two-run single in the second. Ethan Cole (University of Minnesota-Duluth) went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles tallying two RBI, one walk, and scoring once. Joe Vos (University of St. Thomas) went 1-for-6 with a two-run home run in the first. Carter Hanson (University of Massachusetts) went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the fourth. Jackson Smith (Kankakee Community College) earned the win throwing five innings with two strikeouts allowing five hits, three runs, and one walk.

Thunder Bay 14, Minnesota 2

The Thunder Bay Border Cats clobbered the Minnesota Mud Puppies 14-2 in tonight’s matchup, using a twelve-run fifth inning. Alex Urlaub (Charleston Southern University (SC)) went 0-1 recording four RBI, a walk, and two HBP. Cole Ketzner (University of South Alabama) went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one walk, one HBP, and scoring once. Brayden Fraasman (North Carolina State University) went 1-for-2 with one RBI, one walk, and two HBP, and scored twice. Jacob Miller (Jefferson College (MO)) went 1-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, one HBP, and scored twice. Trey Fikes (Three Rivers College (MO)) went 1-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, and scored twice. Garfield Johns (University of South Alabama) earned the win throwing five innings with two strikeouts allowing three hits, three walks, and one run.

La Crosse 6, Rochester 5

The La Crosse Loggers sweep the series with a 6-5 win over the Rochester Honkers. Cooper Brass (University of New Mexico) went 3-for-3 at the plate including a triple in the eighth recording two RBI, two walks, and a stolen base. Luke Davis (Long Beach City College) went 1-for-2 drawing three walks tallying one RBI and scoring twice. Rj Hamilton (Vanderbilt University) went 3-for-4 including a double with one RBI, one stolen base, and scoring twice. Augusto Mungarrieta Lorenzo (Rochester Community and Technical College) went 1-for-4 with a double, three RBI, and two stolen bases. Mattie Thomas (University of San Francisco) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run. Kaden Taque (University of California Berkeley) earned the win throwing two innings with four strikeouts allowing two walks, zero hits, and zero runs.

Eau Claire 5, Badlands 4

The Eau Claire Express wins the series using an eighth innings run to take down the Badlands Big Sticks. Dylan O’Connell (Western Kentucky) went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in the fourth and a stolen base. Colton Wernhoff (University of Kansas) went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in the sixth. George Bilecki (Lewis University) went 2-for-3 with the go-ahead RBI single in the eighth. Mason Strong (University of Oklahoma) went 2-for-5 including a double recording two RBI on the day. Henry Wilkinson (University of Minnesota-Duluth) earned the win throwing three innings with two strikeouts allowing two hits, one run, and one walk.

Battle Creek 11, Rockford 1

The Battle Creek Battle Jacks respond to being shut out yesterday with a monster win, beating the Rockford Rivets 11-1 tonight. Elijah Henning (Central Michigan University) was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3 with an RBI double in the second recording another three RBI, a stolen base, two walks, and scoring twice. Alex Fernandes (University of Memphis) went 2-for-5 including a double, one RBI, three stolen bases, and scoring twice. Spencer Verberg (Central Michigan University) went 1-for-4 with a double, one RBI, two walks, one stolen base, and scoring twice. Scott Newman (Parkland College) went 1-for-4 with a triple and scored once. Noah Sample (Walsh University) earned the win throwing a solid five innings with eight strikeouts allowing one hit, zero walks, and zero runs. 

Fond du Lac 6, Green Bay 1

The Fond du Lac take down the Green Bay Rockers 6-1 in tonight’s matchup. Drew Barragan (Embry Riddle Aeronautical) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles recording three RBI and scoring once. Caden Shapiro (Princeton University) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in the fifth. Parker Knoll (Lawrence University) went 2-for-4 with an RBI and scored once. Zach Silfies (Elizabethtown College) earned his second win of the season throwing three innings allowing four walks, zero hits, and zero runs.

Bismarck 15, Minot 7

The Bismarck Larks used back-to-back four-run innings to defeat the Minot Hot Tots 15-7. Will Millard (Hillsdale College) went 1-for-3 at the plate today with a two-run triple in the sixth, collecting another RBI, two walks, and scored twice. Jake Agarwal (Bellarmine University) went 1-for-5 with a three-run double in the second. Theo Bryant lv (Tennessee Tech University) went 3-for-4 including a two-run home run in the fourth and a double. Alex Alva (University of Jamestown) went 3-for-5 with a triple and scored once. Wyatt Reginato (Colorado State University – Pueblo) went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Kai Taylor (Augustana University) earned his second win of the season throwing 1.2 innings with four strikeouts allowing two hits, zero walks, and zero runs.

Waterloo 12, Kenosha 4

The Waterloo Bucks boast a six-run innings to take down the Kenosha Kingfish 12-4. Brennan Hudson (Georgia State University) went 3-for-5 just a triple shy of the cycle with a double in the third, a three-run home run in the fourth, and an RBI single in the fifth, recording four RBI, and scoring four times. Marcus Heusohn (University of Illinois at Chicago) went 3-for-4 with two RBI and scored twice. Larry Edwards (Oklahoma College-Tonkawa) went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and one stolen base. Brendon Carter (Oklahoma College-Tonkawa) earned the win throwing two innings with three strikeouts allowing one hit, one run, and zero walks.

Traverse City 9, Kalamazoo 3

The Traverse City Pit Spitters won their home series defeating the Kalamazoo Growlers 9-3. Carter Hain (Oakland University) went 2-for-4 including a two-run triple in the third and a stolen base. Jt Sokolove (Illinois State University) went 1-for-4 with an RBI double and two stolen bases. Brody Capps (Wallace Community College-Dothan) went 1-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice. Brodey Acres (Walsh University) with 2-for-4 with three RBI and one walk. Jagger Neely (East Texas Baptist University) earned the win throwing four innings with four strikeouts allowing five hits, one run, and one walk.

Mankato 4, Willmar 3

The Mankato MoonDogs defeated the Willmar Stinger 4-3 in today’s tight matchup. Eli Anderson (North Iowa Area Community College) went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one walk, and one stolen base. Matthew Fleischhacker (Minnesota State University Mankato) went 2-for-3 with one RBI, one stolen base, and drew two walks. Taylor Steig (Olivet Nazarene University) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and scored once. Andrew Sojka (California State University Northridge) went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and scored all three of the Stinger’s runs. Bryce Crabb (University of Northwestern Saint Paul) earned the win throwing 3.2 innings with two strikeouts allowing three hits, two walks, and one run.
