The Wausau Woodchucks extend their lead to 7-0 with their victory over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, making this their best start in franchise history! Mankato walks it off to maintain their top position in Great Plains West.

La Crosse 6, Waterloo 3

The La Crosse Loggers defeat the Waterloo Bucks 6-3, taking game 1 of the series. Elijah Ickes (University of Hawaii) went 2-for-4 at the plate today recording two RBI, and two stolen bases. Jack Collins (California State University Long Beach) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the fourth. Brennan Hudson (Georgia State University), last night’s player of the day, went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the fourth, tallying three RBI and scoring once. Will Girardi (University of Nevada Las Vegas) earned his first win of the season throwing four innings with two strikeouts allowing four hits, one run, and one walk.

Madison 7, Green Bay 5

The Madison Mallards take down the Green Bay Rockers 7-5 in today’s matchup. Will Vierling (University of Louisville) went 2-for-4 collecting an RBI in the third, and a two-run single in the sixth. Jake Munroe (John A. Logan Community College) went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and one RBI. Korbyn Dickerson (University of Louisville) went 1-for-5 tallying two RBI. Carson Hansen (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Logan Gregorio (Benedictine University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run triple in the second. Tyson Romero (Nebraska Wesleyan University) earned the win throwing five innings with seven strikeouts allowing four walks, three runs, and two walks.

Wisconsin Rapids 7, Lakeshore 5

The Wisconsin Rapids score four runs in the sixth to secure their win over the Lakeshore Chinooks 7-5. Trotter Boston (Tabor College) went 2-for-5 including a two-run single in the sixth. Alex Brodie (Shorter University) went 1-for-3 with an RBI double in the first. Tyler Mcclanahan (Alabama State University) went 3-for-4 including a double. Josh Outlaw (Parkland College) went 1-for-4 collecting two RBI and two stolen bases. Sidney Ferry (University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point) earned the win throwing three innings with one strikeout allowing one hit, zero earned runs, and zero walks.

The Wausau Woodchucks extend their lead to 7-0 (Best start in franchise history) with their 8-4 victory over the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. Max Galvin (Oklahoma State University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in the eighth. Jeremy Conforti (Central Methodist University) went 2-for-3 recording two RBI, two walks, and scoring once. Drew Barragan (Embry Riddle Aeronautical) went 1-for-4 tallying three RBI. Eric Valdez (Feather River College) earned the win throwing four innings with two strikeouts allowing four hits, zero runs, and zero walks.

Kalamazoo 9, Traverse City 1

The Kalamazoo Growlers ran up the score defeating the Traverse City Pit Spitters 9-1. Reagan Paulina (Wayne State University) went 2-for-4 recording three RBI and scoring once. Brodey Acres (Walsh University) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored twice. Jeremy Corner (University of Tennessee) went 3-for-4 including a double and scoring twice. Matt Earley (Franklin College) went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the second. Eamon Hordwedel (University of Michigan) earned his 20th career win, breaking a franchise record, throwing six innings with four strikeouts allowing eight hits, one run, and one walk.

Kenosha 4, Battle Creek 1

The Kenosha Kingfish takes down the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 4-1 in today’s matchup. Nick Giamarusti (Ohio State University) went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and scored twice. Noah Jouras (Davidson College) went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Dj Ghiorso (Santa Barbara City College)went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Aidan Arbogast (Eastern Michigan University) went 2-for-3 scoring once. Tanner Johnson (Triton College) earned his second win of the season throwing six innings with five strikeouts allowing seven hits, one run, and one walk.

Badlands 6, Duluth 2

The Badlands Big Sticks take game 1 of the series over the Duluth Huskies beating them 6-2. Cooper Hill (Tyler Junior College) went 1-for-4 with an RBI double in the second. Quade Peters (Eastern Illinois University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run single in the fourth, tallying a stolen base. Mj Sweeney (Grossmont College) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles. Joe Vos (University of St. Thomas) went 1-for-3 with an RBI triple in the third. Tyler Conklin (Eastern Illinois University) earned his second win of the season throwing five innings with three strikeouts allowing four hits, three walks, and two runs.

Bismarck 5, Minot 4

The Bismarck Larks used a ninth-inning go-ahead run to defeat the Minot Hot Tots 5-4. Brady Krzciok (Macomb Community College) went 2-for-4 including a two-run home run in the first. Isaac Huetti (North Iowa Area Community College) went 2-for-4 on the day with a pair of doubles and an RBI. Theo Bryant Lv (Tennessee Tech University) went 3-for-4 including a double, a walk, and scoring twice. Jonah Shields (California State University Bakersfield) went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Nick Alonso (Louisiana Tech University) went 2-for-4 including a triple and two RBI. David Chase (Iowa Western) earned his first win of the season.

Royal Oak 7, Kokomo 3

The Royal Oak Leprechauns take down the Kokomo Jackrabbits 7-3 in today’s matchup. Collin Overholt (Ashland University) leads the team on the day going 2-for-3 with an RBI double in the second, and an RBI single in the eighth. Nate Ball (Eastern Michigan University) went 1-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice. James Oman (University of North Florida) went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, one RBI, and scoring once. Andrew Abler (Harvard University) earned his first win of the season throwing a solid six innings with seven strikeouts allowing three hits, zero runs, and zero walks.

Thunder Bay 5, Eau Claire 4

The Thunder Bay Border Cats used a two-run eighth inning to beat the Eau Claire Express 5-4. Lead-off batter, Zane Skansi (Creighton University (NE)), went 3-for-5 recording a double and a two-run single in the eighth. Ty Brooks (University of South Alabama) went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two stolen bases. Dylan O’Connell (Western Kentucky) went 3-for-4 including a double, two RBI, one stolen base, and scoring once. Griffin Catto (Southern Illinois University) earned the win throwing 2.1 innings with three strikeouts allowing one hit, one walk, and zero runs.

Minnesota 8, Willmar 7

The Minnesota Mud Puppies get their first win of the season against the Willmar Stingers beating them 8-7. Colten Becker (North Dakota State University) went 1-for-4 including a triple collecting one RBI and scoring twice. Matthew Maulik (University of St. Thomas) went 1-for-4 with a double, one RBI, and scoring once. Ryan Clementi (Augustana University) went 2-for-4 with an RBI single in the eighth tying the game up. Collin Hynek (Georgia State University) went 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI. Nico Senese (Georgia Tech) went 1-for-5 with a two-run homerun in the second. Trey Sejnoha (University of St. Thomas) earned the win throwing two innings with two strikeouts allowing three hits, three walks, and zero runs.

Mankato 4, St. Cloud 3

The Mankato MoonDogs walk it off in the ninth to defeat the St. Cloud Rox 4-3. Josh Alexander (University of Louisiana at Lafayette) went 3-for-5 including an RBI single in the ninth that won the game for the MoonDogs. Casey Sorg (Bellarmine University) went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Jaixen Frost (University of Iowa) was perfect at the plate going 1-for-1 drawing three walks, scoring once, and tallying two stolen bases. Grant Garza (Tarleton State University) earned the win throwing two innings with one strikeout allowing one walk, zero hits, and zero runs.

Rockford 15, Rochester 6

The Rockford Rivets ran up the score to take down the Rochester Honkers 15-6. Kyle Schupmann (University of Cincinnati) had a day at the plate going 3-for-5 with an RBI single in the first, a three-run home run in the third, and an RBI double in the sixth. Scott Newman (Parkland College) went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in the first. Brayden Bakes (Indiana University) went 1-for-4 with a solo shot and scored three times. Luca Dipaolo (University of Southern California) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with one RBI. Jack Wajda (Lincoln Land Community College) earned the win throwing 4.2 innings with four strikeouts allowing six hits, six runs, and three walks.
