The Mankato Habeneros ran up the score mercy ruling the Minot Honeybees 17-6. Paige Zender (Iowa State) went 3-for-5 scoring twice with a walk-off two-run home run collecting six RBI. Joscelyn Bennett (Bryant and Stratton College) went 2-for-3 scoring three times with a triple, one stolen base, and three RBI. Brooke Holmes (St. Cloud State University) was perfect at the plate going 2-for-2 scoring three times with a stolen base, a double, and three RBI. Jackie Albrecht (University of North Dakota) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with a double and a solo home run. Shannon Nelson ( Miles Community College) went 1-for-2 with three RBI. Jessa Snippes (University of Minnesota) earned the win throwing 4.2 innings with six strikeouts allowing seven hits, and four walks. and four runs.
Madison 18, La Crosse 1
The Madison Night Mares mercy rule the La Crosse Steam scoring ten runs in the first winning 18-1. Carly Oliver (University of the Cumberlands) was perfect at the plate going 3-for-3 and scoring twice with a three-run home run and an RBI single. Tia Durst (Lake Land) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Chloe Wamboldt (Rock Valley College) went 1-for-3 scoring once with three RBI. Andrea Jaskowiak (University of Iowa) earned the win throwing four innings with five strikeouts allowing five hits, one walk, and one run.
Minot 8, Mankato 5
The Minot Honeybees came back after being mercy-ruled and took down the Mankato Habaneros 8-5. Shayna Myshrall went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Josie Buhr went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Paige Zender went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Madelyn Birling was perfect at the plate going 2-for-2 scoring once. Jackie Albrecht (University of North Dakota) earned the win throwing five innings with two strikeouts five hits, five runs, and three walks.
