Thursday’s Northwoods League slate featured 13 games. The Great Plains West #3 Mankato MoonDogs walk it off in the tenth to take down the Great Plains East #7 Minnesota Mud Puppies 2-1.

Royal Oak 10, Battle Creek 1

The Royal Oak Leprechauns score five in the fourth to help run up the score 10-1 on the Battle Creek Battle Jacks. Collin Overholt (Ashland University) went 1-for-3 with three RBI. Brayden Dowd (University of Southern California) went 3-for-4 scoring once with two RBI. Ryan Tyranski (University of Cincinnati) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a double and one RBI. Tony Hatzigeorgiou (Wayne State University) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with two RBI. Cody Hultink (Davenport University) went 3-for-4 with a double, one RBI, and one stolen base. Andrew Abler (Harvard University) earned the win throwing 8.2 innings with six strikeouts allowing five hits, one run, and one walk.

Traverse City 7, Madison 5

The Traverse City Pit Spitters come in clutch scoring two runs in the ninth to defeat the Madison Mallards 7-5. Ethan Guerra (University of Arizona) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with a two-run home run and one stolen base. Ethan Belk (Wofford College) went 1-for-4 with a triple and three RBI. Jt Sokolove (Illinois State University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with two RBI. Justin Best (Florida State University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with two RBI. Frankie Carney (University of California Irvine) went 2-for-5 with two RBI. Caleb Reed (Kansas City Kansas Community College) earned the win throwing one scoreless inning allowing one walk.

The Kenosha Kingfish dominate the Kokomo Jackrabbits 11-0 in tonight’s matchup. Nate Mieszkowski (Missouri Southern State University) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with a three-run home run. Brandon Nigh (Oakland University) went 1-for-4 scoring twice with a two-run home run. Will Plattner (University of Alabama) went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Tyler Bickers (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) went 2-for-4 scoring once with one RBI. The Eau Claire Express took down the Rochester Honkers 8-2. Brigs Richartz (University of St. Thomas) went 1-for-5 scoring twice with a three-run home run. Green Bay 5, Lakeshore 4

The Green Bay Rockers came out hot lighting up the scoreboard first with three runs in the first to help beat the Lakeshore Chinooks 5-4. Sam Miller (Columbia University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with a two-run home run. Jake Bold (Princeton University) went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Brady Counsell (University of Kansas) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with a double, one RBI, and two stolen bases. St. Cloud 6, Bismarck 0

Wausau 6, Wisconsin Rapids 3

The Wausau Woodchucks collect eleven hits in their 6-3 victory over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Austin Dearing (Florida International University) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a two-run home run. Vance Sheahan (University of South Carolina Upstate) went 3-for-4 scoring once with a double and one RBI.
