Madison 6, Minot 0
The Madison Night Mares shut out the Minot Honeybees in game one winning 6-0. Mia Johnson went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Brooke Steinhorst (Madison College) went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Haley Remington (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) scored once with two RBI. Rylee Rogers (Madison College) went 2-for-3 scoring twice. Shayna Myschrall (Niagara University) went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Trinity Gregg (University of Jamestown) went 1-for-3 with a double. Karlie Mckenzie (Eastern Illinois University) earned the win throwing six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts allowing five walks and three hits.
Mankato 13, La Crosse 3
The Mankato Habaneros run-ruled the La Crosse Steam 13-3 in game one. Brooke Holmes (St. Cloud State University) had a day at the plate going 3-for-4 scoring twice with a pair of doubles and collecting five RBI. Serena Timmer (University of Minnesota-Duluth) went 3-for-4 scoring twice with a pair of doubles and collecting three RBI and one stolen base. Paige Zender (Iowa State University) went 2-for-2 scoring three times with one RBI. Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University, Mankato) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with a double. Jayme Scheck (Drake University) earned the win throwing six innings allowing four walks, three runs, and three hits.
Madison 17, Minot 8
The Madison Night Mares take down the Minot Honeybees sweeping the doubleheader with a huge 17-8 victory. Lexie Shaver (Salt Lake Community College) had a day at the plate going 3-for-4 scoring four times with a three-run home run, a triple, an RBI single, and one stolen base. Kayla Thomas (Campbell University) went 4-for-5 scoring twice with a double, one stolen base, and four RBI. Tia Durst (Lake Land) went 2-for-4 scoring three times with a triple, one stolen base, and three RBI. Haley Remington (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) went 4-for-5 scoring three times with two RBI and one stolen base. Shayna Myshrall (Niagara University) went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Trinity Gregg (University of Jamestown) went 4-for-5 scoring three times with one stolen base. Shannon Nelson (Miles Community College) went 4-for-4 scoring twice with one RBI. Holly Lowenberg (Bryant and Stratton College) earned the win throwing 3.2 innings with three strikeouts allowing six hits, one run, and zero walks.
La Crosse 4, Mankato 2
The La Crosse Steam responded to a tough loss earlier with a big win to close out the day beating the Mankato Habaneros 4-2. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee at Martin) went 2-for-3 scoring once with two RBI and one stolen base. Ashley Wolfe (Oregon State University) went 1-for-4 scoring twice with a double and two stolen bases. Amity White (University of South Alabama) went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Makenzie Willis (Belmont University) earned the win throwing 5.2 innings with eight strikeouts allowing three walks, two hits, and one earned run.
