The Kalamazoo Growlers dominate the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 11-1. Eric Becker (University of Virginia) went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run, ending the day with four RBI. Sam Harris (Duke University) went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run. Gabe Springer (Stanford University) went 1-for-4 scoring once with a double and one RBI. Patrick Straub (Baldwin Wallace University) earned the win throwing nine innings with nine strikeouts allowing three hits, one run, and zero walks.
Madison 10, Kokomo 5
The Madison Mallards score six runs in the sixth to take down the Kokomo Jackrabbits 10-5. Justin Best (Florida State University) went 3-for-5 scoring twice with a grand slam and a solo home run.
