Sunday’s Northwoods League slate featured 12 games. The Great Plains East #2 Eau Claire Express walks it off in extras taking down the Great Plains East #5 Waterloo Bucks 12-11. Eau Claire wins their fourth in a row.

Green Bay 11, Wausau 8

The Green Bay Border Cats scored five runs in the fourth to help beat the Wausau Woodchucks 11-8. Lane Allen (Blinn College) went 4-for-5 scoring once with a pair of doubles and three RBI. Mateo Matthews (Wagner College) went 2-for-3 scoring once with a pair of doubles and two RBI. Makani Tanaka (Oral Roberts University) went 2-for-5 scoring three times with a solo home run. Daalen Adderley (Loyola Marymount University) went 2-for-5 scoring once with a double, one stolen base, and one RBI. Edian Espinal (Chipola College) went 2-for-5 scoring once with a double and two RBI. Landon Victorian (LSU) earned the win throwing five innings with seven strikeouts allowing four walks, two hits, and one run.

Wisconsin Rapids 3, Madison 1

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafter score two runs in the eighth to take back the lead and down the Madison Mallards 3-1. Kyler Mcintosh (Alabama State University) went 2-for-3 scoring once with two RBI. Aidan Teel (University of Virginia) went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Jacob Schroeder (University of Illinois) went 1-for-2 scoring once with one stolen base. Maddox Thornton (Texas AandM University-Corpus Christi) threw a solid six innings with six strikeouts allowing two hits, zero runs, and zero walks. Jc Dermody (Wichita State University) earned the win throwing three innings with one strikeout allowing three hits, one run, and one walk.

Mankato 4, Bismarck 3

The Mankato MoonDogs pulled through with the win beating the Bismarck Larks 4-3.  Cooper Neville (Grand Canyon University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with one RBI. Carter Vrabel (Tennessee Tech University) went 1-for-4 scoring once with one RBI. Jett Buck (Washburn University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base. Dylan Waite (University of Hawaii) earned the win throwing six innings with five strikeouts allowing seven hits, two walks, and one earned run.

Lakeshore 12, Kokomo 5

The Lakeshore Chinooks score six runs in the eighth inning to run up the score on the Kokomo Jackrabbits 12-5. Ethan Hindle (University of Kentucky) went 2-for-3 scoring twice with a two-run home run, a triple, and one stolen base. Billy Scaldeferri (Grand Canyon University) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a two-run double. Mason Schwalbach (Kansas State) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a solo home run and a double. Nash Rippen (Wallace State Community College-Hanceville) went 1-for-2 scoring twice with a solo home run. Jack Counsell (University of Michigan) went 3-for-5 scoring three times with a pair of doubles and three RBI. Aidan Mcaskie (Charleston Southern University) went 1-for-3 scoring twice with a solo home run and a stolen base. Zach Slome (Concordia University of Wisconsin) earned the win throwing five innings allowing two hits, two runs, and two walks.

Kenosha 10, Rockford 4

The Kenosha Kingfish collected thirteen hits in their 10-4 victory over the Rockford Rivets. Will Plattner (University of Alabama) went 3-for-4 scoring twice with a double and one RBI. Connor Meidroth (University of San Diego) went 2-for-4 scoring once with two RBI. Ivan Dahlberg (University of Illinois at Springfield) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Tommy Townsend (Butler University) went 3-for-5 scoring once with one RBI and one stolen base. Tsubasa Tomii (Herkimer College) earned the win throwing five innings with two strikeouts allowing seven hits, two earned runs, and three walks.

Duluth 4, Fond du Lac 3

The Duluth Huskies pulled through with the win beating the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 4-3. Cal Elvis (Kansas) went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run. Charlie Sutherland (University of Minnesota) went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Adam Cootway (University of Wisconsin – Whitewater) went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Preston Knott (Northwestern University) went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Connor Cooney (College of the Holy Cross) went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Joshua Butler (Arizona State University) earned the win throwing seven innings with six strikeouts allowing six hits, three walks, and two runs.

Traverse City 6, Battle Creek 5

The Traverse City Pit Spitters take the lead in the seventh and beat the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 6-5. Brett Rosman (Central Arizona College) went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Jt Sokolove (Illinois State University) went 2-for-2 scoring three times with a double and one stolen base. Mason Hamlin ( University of Texas of the Permian Basin) went 1-for-4 scoring once with one RBI. Cody Hultink (Davenport University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with one RBI. Jake Ickes (Northwood University) earned the win throwing two innings allowing two walks, one run, and one hit.

Rochester 2, La Crosse 1

The Rochester Honkers pulled through with the win beating the La Crosse Loggers 2-1. Brendan O’Sullivan (University of Nevada Las Vegas) went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Willmar 9, Badlands 3

The Willmar Stingers scored five runs in the ninth to run up the score on the Badlands Big Sticks 9-3. Max Buettenback (University of Nebraska) went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double. Landen Lozier (Michigan State University) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a two-run home run. Hayden Lewis (University of Nebraska) went 2-for-4 with a solo home run. Andrew Sojka (California State University Northridge) went 2-for-4 scoring once with a double and three RBI. Joshua Pernetti (Metro State University of Denver) went 2-for-2 scoring once with a double and one RBI. Ben Irsfeld (Minnesota State University Mankato) earned the win throwing three scoreless innings with four strikeouts allowing one walk.

Kalamazoo 7, Royal Oak 4

The Kalamazoo Growlers scored three runs in the third to defeat the Royal Oak Leprechauns 7-4. Blake Grimmer (University of Tennessee) went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI. The Minot Hot Tots take down the Minnesota Mud Puppies in tonight’s hit show. Xavier Esquer (University of California-Santa Barbara) went 4-for-5 scoring five times with a three-run home run, an RBI single, and three stolen bases. Nick Alonso (Arkansas State University) went 1-for-4 scoring twice with a double, one RBI, and two stolen bases. Adrian Dominguez (University of New Orleans) went 2-for-5 scoring once with a double and five RBI. Harrison Bowman (Troy University) went 2-for-5 scoring twice with a two-run home run and an RBI double. Matthew Maulik (University of St. Thomas) went 2-for-4 scoring twice with a solo home run.
