The La Crosse Loggers used a monster fourth inning scoring nine runs to dominate the Eau Claire Express 18-9. Case Sanderson (University of Nebraska) had a day at the plate going 3-for-4 and went yard not once, not twice, but three times collecting seven RBI. Tyler Smith (St. Peter”s University) went 1-for-2 scoring twice with a two-run home run. Elijah Ickes (University of Hawaii) went 2-for-6 scoring once with a double and two RBI. Ethan Farris (Texas State University) went 2-for-4 scoring once with a pair of doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI. Andrew Regner (Winona State University) earned the win throwing five innings with three strikeouts allowing four hits, three earned runs, and two walks.
Battle Creek 5, Royal Oak 4
The Battle Creek Battle Jacks take the lead scoring four runs in the sixth and take down the Royal Oak Leprechauns 5-4. Sam Griffith (Oakland University) went 1-for-3 scoring once with one RBI. Ben Fierenzi (Long Island University) went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Alex Cheeseman (University of Alabama – Birmingham) went 1-for-4 scoring once with one RBI. Michael Lareau ( Belmont University) went 1-for-3 scoring twice with one stolen base. The Madison Mallards shut out the Kenosha Kingfish 13-0. Liam Moreno (St. Cloud State University) went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run. The Traverse City Pit Spitters score five in the eighth to extend the lead and defeat the Kokomo Jackrabbits 11-6. Brett Rozman (Central Arizona College) went 3-for-5 with a triple and four RBI.
