The Green Bay Rockers used a monster sixth inning scoring eight runs to defeat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 8-6. Blade Carver (Northern Oklahoma College) went 2-for-3 scoring once with a solo home run and a two-run double. Makani Tanaka (Oral Roberts University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run. Jake Bold (Princeton University) went 1-for-4 with two RBI. Aidan Teel (University of Virginia) went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run. Ben Loyd (Northern Illinois University) went 1-for-4 with two RBI. Colton Sylvester (Bellhaven University) earned the win throwing 4.2 scoreless innings with two strikeouts allowing two walks.
Kalamazoo 13, Battle Creek 1
The Kalamazoo Growlers dominated the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 13-1 in tonight’s matchup. Brodey Acres (Walsh University) went 2-for-3 scoring three times with a solo home run and an RBI double. Antonio Perotta (University of Virginia) went 2-for-4 scoring once with a double and two RBI. Colin Blanchard (University of Washington) went 1-for-4 scoring once with two RBI.
