Wausau 11, Minot 1
The Wausau Ignite erupted for 11 runs in the first three innings, cruising to an 11-1 run-rule victory over the Minot Honeybees in five innings. Ava Clark (Northwest Nazarene University) went 1-for-2, scoring once with two RBIs. Riley Schwisow (Northwestern State University) went 1-for-1, scoring three times with one RBI and one stolen base. Brooklyn Hofer (University of North Dakota) went 1-for-2, scoring three times with one RBI. Shayna Myshrall (Niagara University) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run. Riley Stiles (Lake Forest College) earned the win, throwing three innings with one strikeout, allowing three hits and one run.
Madison 4, Mankato 3
The Madison Night Mares used back-to-back two-run innings in the fifth and sixth to erase a deficit and defeat the Mankato Habaneros 4-3. Tia Durst (University of Washington) went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Emma Kavanaugh (University of Arizona) went 2-for-3 with a double, driving in one run. Trinity Kennemer (MSU Denver) went 1-for-3 with a double and one RBI. Alexis Michon (Trine University) went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run. Kendall Weik (NC State) earned the win throwing seven innings with three strikeouts allowing six hits, six walks, and one earned run.
Madison 5, Mankato 3
The Madison Night Mares built a steady lead through five innings and held off a late push to defeat the Habaneros 5-3. Emma Kavanagh (University of Arizona) went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run. Ava Carroll (University of Washington) went 1-for-3 with a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. Katy Olive (University of Miami (OH)) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Indigo Fish (Winona State University) went 2-for-4 with a double, tallying one RBI and one run scored. Andrea Jaskowiak (Colorado State University) earned the win throwing 5.2 innings with two strikeouts allowing seven hits, two walks, and one earned run. Taylor Baker (South Dakota State University) got the save throwing 1.1 innings allowing two hits and one walk.
