The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders erupted for five runs in the eighth inning to surge past the Lakeshore Chinooks 9-4. Devin Nunez (University of Nebraska) went 1-for-4 with a double, recording one RBI and two runs scored. James Hankerson Jr. (Florida State University) went 1-for-2 with a double, tallying one RBI and two runs scored. Nate McHugh (Creighton University) went 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Payten Jibben (University of Illinois-Chicago) earned the win, throwing three scoreless innings with two strikeouts, allowing two hits and one walk.
Madison 6, Wisconsin Rapids 3
The Madison Mallards used a four-run sixth inning to come from behind and defeat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6-3. Cole Kosciusko (UC Santa Barbara) went 2-for-4, scoring twice with one RBI and one stolen base. MJ Sweeney (Wichita State University) went 1-for-1, driving in one run. Noah Sheffield (Florida State University) went 1-for-3 with a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. The Royal Oak Leprechauns exploded offensively to out slug the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 20-10 in a high-scoring showdown.
