After Grand Forks tied the game in the top of the eighth, Wausau answered in the bottom half, with Mia Buske (South Dakota State University) delivering the walk-off winner after being inserted into the lineup. Megan McGinnis (Saint Mary’s University (MN)) led the Ignite offense, going 4-for-5 with a double, four RBI, and one run scored. Brynn Daniel (Northwestern State University) went 4-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored, while Mia Johnson (University of Wisconsin-Parkside) also collected four hits, finishing 4-for-5 with one run scored. For Grand Forks, Makenna Alexander (University of North Dakota) went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run scored, and a stolen base.
