The Night Mares erupted offensively after an early deficit, scoring in four of the first five innings to overwhelm the Habaneros 16–3 in a dominant six-inning win. Gretta Grassel (Mississippi State University) had a day at the plate, going 3-for-4, including a pair of doubles, driving in four runs, and scoring twice. Ahmari Braden (University of Pittsburgh) went 3-for-3, including a pair of doubles, driving in two runs and scoring twice while stealing two bases. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-4 with a home run, driving in three runs and scoring twice. Ava Carroll (University of Washington) went 3-for-4, including a double, driving in one run and scoring twice. Kyra Smith (Colorado State University) went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored. Ryan Maddox (University of Washington) went 3-for-4, including a double, recording one RBI and one run scored. Kendall Weik (North Carolina State University) earned the win, throwing four innings with one strikeout while allowing five hits, three runs, and one walk.
