The Night Mares erupted for 14 runs in just five innings, using a dominant offensive performance and early scoring to cruise past the Spitfires 14-3 in a run-rule victory. Emma Kavanaugh (Virginia Tech) was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 including a pair of home runs and scoring three times. Danielle Lucey ( University of Wisconsin) stayed red hot, going 3-for-3 including a home run, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Tele Jennings (University of Arizona) went 2-for-3 including a solo home run and scored twice. Mickayla Tosch (Wichita State University) went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and scored twice. For Grand Forks, Anna Elliot (University of Texas at Tyler) went 1-for-1 with a home run, driving in two runs. Kendall Weil (North Carolina State University) earned the win, throwing four innings with two strikeouts while allowing four hits, three runs, and three walks.

La Terra Foster-Frison (Michigan State University) went 1-for-1 with a home run driving in two runs. Riley Schwisow (Northwestern State University) went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and scored twice. Brynn Daniel (Northwestern State University) went 2-for-4 including a home run, recording two RBI and three runs scored.
