The Steam took control early and never looked back, scoring in five of six innings to cruise past the Spitfires 10–3. Josie Brudos (Winona State University) paced the offense, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, while Trinity Gregg (University of Jamestown) finished 3-for-4, scoring three runs, driving in one, and stealing a base. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee-Martin) added a double, scored twice, and drove in a run. For the Spitfires, Grand Forks went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, while Mattison Kwarta (San Diego State University) doubled and reached base four times with three walks. Preslynn Baker (John Melvin Christian College) tossed a complete-game victory, striking out nine while allowing three runs on four hits over seven innings.

Mankato 13, Minot 3

The Habaneros jumped on the Honeybees early and never let up, scoring in every inning en route to a 13–3 run-rule victory. Ava Parent (University of Wisconsin) starred at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with a double, three RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base. Brylee Hempey (University of South Dakota) finished 2-for-2, scoring three times and swiping two bases, while Alexis Duke (Augustana College (IL)) went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. Marleigh Louvar (University of St. Thomas (MN)) added a double and crossed the plate once. In the circle, Morgan Kostecka (Wisconsin – Green Bay) earned the complete-game win, allowing three runs on seven hits over five innings while striking out three and walking two.
