
The inaugural Northwoods League Softball All-Star Game delivered a memorable finish as the East rallied for an 11–10 walk-off victory over the West. The first-ever showcase featured plenty of offense, 25 combined hits, and a dramatic game-winning finish in the bottom of the eighth inning. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) played hero with the game-winning RBI, finishing 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored. Mickayla Tosch (Wichita State University) went 3-for-5 with a double, three runs scored, and an RBI, while Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) drove in three runs in a 2-for-3 performance. Avary Makarewicz (University of Tennessee-Martin) added an RBI and two runs scored, Bridget Chapman (University of Delaware) went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI, and Olivia Hernandez (Purdue University Northwest) finished a perfect 2-for-2 with an RBI. Ryan Maddox (University of Washington) earned the win, tossing five innings with two strikeouts while allowing three earned runs on three hits and seven walks.
