Battle Creek outlasted Kalamazoo in a back-and-forth slugfest, defeating the Growlers 12–11. The Battle Jacks answered an early deficit with an eight-run outburst over the first two innings and held off Kalamazoo’s late rally to secure the one-run victory. St. Cloud walked it off to defeat Mankato 6–5 in extra innings. The Rox battled back late with four runs across the eighth and ninth innings before delivering the game-winning run in the 10th inning to secure the victory over the MoonDogs.
