The Battle Jacks used a strong offensive performance to defeat the Flying Mummies 12–7. Battle Creek jumped ahead early with a four-run second inning and added insurance throughout the game, including a four-run sixth inning, to build a commanding lead and secure the victory over Richmond. Marcus Dierks (Miami University (OH)) had a day at the plate, going 4-for-5 including a home run, finishing with five RBI, two runs scored, and one stolen base. The Leprechauns built an early lead and held off a late Growlers rally to defeat Kalamazoo 12–7. The Chinooks edged the Pit Spitters 7–4 in a back-and-forth battle. Lakeshore responded every time Traverse City grabbed momentum, scoring in six different innings, including a two-run seventh inning, to pull away and secure the victory. The Bucks jumped out early and held on to defeat the Honkers 8–2. The Stingers completed a late comeback to defeat the Hot Tots 8–7. After trailing throughout much of the game, Willmar erupted for five runs in the seventh inning to take the lead and held on to secure the one-run victory over Minot. The Woodchucks walked it off in a high-scoring thriller, defeating the Dock Spiders 17–16. After falling behind early, Wausau erupted for a 10-run fifth inning to take control before holding off Fond du Lac’s late push and delivering the walk-off victory in a 38-hit offensive showcase.
