The Night Mares wasted no time taking control, defeating the Steam 15–1 in a five-inning run-rule victory. Mickayla Tosch (Wichita State University) had a day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a home run and a double, driving in four runs. Emma Kavanagh (Virginia Tech) went 1-for-3 with a home run, recording three runs scored and two RBI. Kyra Smith (Colorado State University) went 1-for-1 with a double, driving in three runs and scoring once. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) went 2-for-3, including her 20th home run of the season, tallying two RBI and two runs scored. Ahmari Braden (University of Pittsburgh) went 2-for-3 including a solo home run, scoring twice. Tia Durst (University of Washington) went 2-for-3 including a double, scoring three times. Carly Brewer (University of Iowa) earned the win, throwing five innings with four strikeouts while allowing three hits, one run, and one walk.

The Spitfires jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, defeating the Honeybees 6–1. Addie Ferguson (Towson University) went 1-for-3 with a home run, driving in two runs. Ally Hetzel (University of Washington) went 2-for-3 including a double, driving in one run and scoring twice. Mattison Kwarta (San Diego State University) earned the win, throwing six innings with nine strikeouts while allowing four hits and two walks. Madison Wihlm (North Dakota State University) shut the door, throwing one scoreless inning with two strikeouts while allowing one hit.
