Madison 7, Wausau 1

The back-to-back champion Night Mares secured another title with a 7–1 victory over the Ignite in the Championship Game. Madison broke the game open with a three-run third inning and added three more in the fifth to pull away and cap off another championship season. Emma Kavanaugh ( Virginia Tech) went 2-for-3 with a home run, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Hilary Blomberg (University of Wisconsin) finished 2-for-4 with a solo home run and scored twice, while Tia Durst (University of Washington) added a solo home run. Danielle Lucey (University of Wisconsin) went 1-for-2 with a double, driving in one run and scoring twice. For Wausau, Viola Smith (Eastern Illinois University) went 2-for-3 with a solo home run. Ryan Maddox (University of Washington) earned the win, throwing four innings with two strikeouts while allowing two hits, one run, and one walk.
