Waterloo, IA (July 7th, 2013)–On Sunday, the Rochester Honkers and Waterloo Bucks engaged in a 15-inning marathon. The greatest performance of the night belonged to Reid Roper (Illinois) who contributed the greatest bullpen effort of the season to date.

In the 7th inning, Roper entered the game with a 6-2 deficit. By the time he left, the game was in the 14th inning and tied at 6. Roper allowed just two hits and one walk while striking out five batters in the relief effort.

The Honkers will face the Mankato MoonDogs on Monday at 7:05 in Rochester.
