Rochester, Minn (July 12th, 2013)–One of the best ways to end a long losing streak is to have a pitcher take matters into his own hands. That’s what Rochester got on Friday from Matt Kent (Texas A&M).

The freshman from Waco, Texas went eight innings and allowed just one run while striking out nine batters and getting the win. Kent now owns three wins and a 2.25 ERA in 40 innings pitched on the season.

The Honkers will look to start up a winning streak on Saturday at home against Willmar at 7:05.
