Matt Beyer (Wisconsin Whitewater) had three hits and scored one run in the win on Sunday afternoon. Beyer also stole four bases as the Honkers defeated the Stingers. Matt comes to the Honkers as a NWL rookie. He played in 47 of 50 games this past season and was 2nd on the team in stolen bases and hit nine doubles in 2011.
