The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced the signing of right-handed pitcher Michael Boyle to their roster for the 2011 season.

Boyle is currently a junior at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.   

This season for the Islanders, Boyle has seen action in 14 games, all out of the bullpen.  In 13.2 innings pitched, Boyle in 0-1 with a 5.27 ERA, and 12 strikeouts. 
 
Boyle spent his freshman and sophomore seasons pitching for Alvin Community College in Alvin, Texas. In 2010, Boyle went 1-1 with 18 strikeouts in 24.2 innings pitched. The 6’1", 185-pounder finished with an ERA of 6.20.
