The Waterloo Bucks have announced the signing of James Foster from Wofford College.  Foster, a 5’10", 185-pound outfielder, is currently a junior.  

Originally from Dallas, Texas, Foster is hitting .305 this season for the Terriers.  Starting in all 52 games he’s seen action in, Foster owns a .380 on-base percentage and a team leading 21 stolen bases.
 
A left-handed hitter and thrower, Foster played for the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod League last summer.  In 2010 for Wofford, Foster led the team in hitting, finishing the season with a .387 average and 18 stolen bases.
 
A graduate of Trinity Christian Academy, Foster was a four-year starter in high school, finishing up his senior campaign with a .375 batting average with four home runs.  Born May 23, 1989, James is the son of Jim and Charlotte Foster.
