(Wausau, WI) – The Wisconsin Woodchucks have added Creighton infielder Jake Peters to their 2012 roster.
Only a freshman, Peters has already proven to be a force in the Blue Jays lineup. Through eight games this season Peters led the team with a blistering .474 batting average.
Jake was also a decorated high school player in Mason City, Iowa. He led his team to back-to-back state tournaments while earning all-conference, all-area, and all-state honors. Was also voted the state player of the year and holds single season records in home runs and career records in home runs, RBI, hits, runs and doubles.
