Two More Ducks Become Honkers
(ROCHESTER, MN) The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club announced the signing of Scott McGough and Riley Bevill from the University of Oregon for the 2009 season. McGough and Bevill become the 3rd and 4th players from the Oregon Ducks to join the Honkers this summer.
McGough is 6-foot, 185-pound freshman right-handed pitcher from Pittsburg, PA. Currently McGough has made 14 appearances, pitching 13 innings, striking out 11 and walking 2. He was a two-sport athlete in high school lettering in basketball and baseball. McGough was selected in the 46th round by the Pittsburg Pirates in the 2008 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
