The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club signed left-handed pitcher Todd Simko from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

The 6’4” 220-pound junior is currently 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 1 save. He just recorded his first save on Feb. 22nd when he shut down #6 ranked Texas, at Texas, in the 9th inning to preserve the 8-7 win. Simko was the A&M Corpus Christi opening day starter vs. Mississippi Valley on Feb. 18th. He pitched 5.0 innings allowing 0 runs on 3 hits and striking out 7 in route to 12-2 win. Overall batters are currently only hitting .167 against him.

Simko played his first two years of collegiate baseball at Cuesta College in San Louis Obispo, CA before joining A&M Corpus Christi.
