DICKINSON, ND – Vice President Jason Watson announced today that the Badlands Big Sticks have signed Brennan Haman to a first-half contract for the 2024 season.

“Welcoming back players like Brennan, who are not only talented but also deeply rooted in the community, is truly special for us,” said Watson. “Their understanding of our culture and dedication adds tremendous value to the team.”

Haman, a right-handed pitcher, wore number nine for the Big Sticks last season. The 6-foot, 185-pound sophomore attends Des Moines Area Community College (Des Moines, IA). Haman is a North Dakota native, graduating from West Fargo Sheyenne High School.

“I enjoy traveling around and seeing new places,” said Haman. “Now that we’re in the Northwoods League, I get to do that and face off against really good competition.”

Haman, the second pitcher signed by the Big Sticks for the upcoming season, holds the distinction of being the first player to bring prior Big Sticks experience to the roster.
