Dickinson, ND- The Big Sticks got a 9-2 bounce back win against the Willmar Stingers.

The 2nd inning had solo homers from each side. Nico Senese slammed one into left field and Evan Appelwick had a straight center shot. The Sticks scored again in the 3rd on a Cole Tabor sac fly. In the 4th inning, Nathan Martinez had a RBI single that scored Tanner Sears. The scoring continued on errors from catcher Jack Taxdahl and second baseman Maximus Martin.

The Big Sticks got a lot of help from Jackson Horras on the mound. He came in to pitch 2.2 innings and only gave up 1 hit with 3 strikeouts. The Sticks would put the game out of reach in the 8th inning. Martinez came up big again on a 2 RBI single into center field. Two more runs scored on an errant throw from third baseman Dariel Osoria.

The Sticks will drive up I-94 to visit the Bismarck Larks. First pitch will be at 1:05 CT.
