Bismarck, ND- The Badlands Big Sticks lose 10-4 to the Bismarck Larks in a game that was cut short due to weather.
The Sticks would start off hot in back-to-back innings. Brant Kragel knocked in Kaden Carpenter with a single to center in the first inning. Adam Haber followed up in the 2nd inning and hit an RBI single into left. The Larks bounced back in the 3rd with a 3 run inning. Two of the runs were walked in and Cesar Franco hit the last one in on a sac fly. The Sticks retook the lead in the 5th with a Dawson Walls sac fly and a RBI infield single from Tyler Tobey.
The Larks tied the game up in the 6th on a wild pitch. They took the lead in the 7th with a 6 run inning. After a run scoring on a wild pitch, Michael Davinni slammed a RBI triple to right field. Brady Krzciok followed that up with a RBI single that scored Davinni. Ryan Rivera got himself an RBI during the game on a groundout to shortstop. The final runs of the inning came on a 2 RBI double from Noah Leib. The Sticks were not able to respond as the game was called in the top of the 8th.
The Sticks play Bismarck again tomorrow at 6:35 central time.
