The Big Sticks answered with a run in the top half of the 4th inning from a Zach Gingrich (Texas St) solo home run, clubbing his 3rd dinger of the summer. Willmar added a run of their own in the bottom of the 4th inning.

Badlands got another solo home run in the top of the 6th inning, and yes you guessed it, Zach Gingrich did it again! His 4th home run in only the 5th game he has played in and his 3rd straight game with a long ball and five home runs total in that 3-game span.

Badlands trailed the top of the 7th inning 4-3, but sparked a four spot in the inning from a trio of RBI singles from Ryan Muizelaar (Jamestown), Quade Peters, and Coy DeFury (Texas St).

The Big Sticks added one more in the top half of the 9th inning from a Coy DeFury sac fly to collect their 8th run of the evening and win by the final score of 8-4.

Ethan Wendel (McMurry) started the game and allowed 2 ER over 2.2 IP, Dylan Kerbow (Texas St) was stellar in his Big Sticks debut going 2 IP, allowing just 1 base runner and collecting the win, and the rest of the bullpen was sensational of 5 straight shutout innings to end the game.

The Big Sticks used a total of six pitchers last night, and none of them disappointed. Troy Berg was in the leadoff spot again and collected his third straight multi-hit game giving him five total on the season.

Zach Gingrich launched two solo home runs giving him four and the team high. Quade Peters finished the game with three hits and 2 RBI, and Coy DeFury with a pair of hits and RBIs as well.
