Dickinson, ND- The Badlands Big Sticks have announced the signing of right-handed 3rd baseman Troy Berg to the team’s 2024 roster.

Berg, the 6-foot-0, 190-pound freshman from Dickinson, North Dakota, currently attends Iowa Central Community College (Fort Dodge, Iowa). This past season, right-handed batter Berg has appeared in 57 games, with a batting average of .400, 48 RBIs, and slugging and on base percentages of .700 and .534 respectively. On the field, Berg had 41 putouts and 94 assists with a fielding percentage of .925.

Berg is a graduate of Dickinson High School. There, Troy Berg batted .442 with 4 triples with 10 stolen bases during his senior season where he was named a Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of North Dakota. Last summer for the Big Sticks, he appeared in 41 games where he had a batting average of .233 with 22 RBIs and 28 hits.
