Dickinson, ND- The Badlands Big Sticks lost to the Bismarck Larks tonight by a score of 8-4.

The Larks started off hot with a RBI double from Sam Gates in the 1st inning. They added to that lead with a 2 RBI single from Noah Leib in the 3rd and a sac fly from Sean Mcgurk in the 4th. The Sticks got some momentum going when a run was balked in in the 4th. They followed up the next inning with a RBI from Dawson Walls. Luke Zimmer gave up his last run in the 7th on Gabe D’Arcy double. Zimmer pitched a full 7 innings striking out 4 and giving up 5 hits.

The Larks jumped out in front of the Sticks in the 8th with a 4-run inning. Delshaun Lanier slammed a double into center field that scored 2 runs. Yosuke Fujie came in to pinch hit and rocked a RBI double on the first pitch he saw. He was able to score two batters later on a wild pitch. The Sticks had a chance in the bottom of the 9th but Haldon Craig retired three straight, two of those on strike outs.

The Sticks will face the Larks again tomorrow at 6:35.
